I was highly anticipating Paul & Vanni's story, and Carr sure delivered! Great character development as always. A little angst + a lot of chemistry = Pure Romance! Love these guys & gals of Virgin River and looking forward to more. A Must Read!

Heres the thing, these books are a sure thing for when youre needing some small-town escape reading. To my surprise, Netflix has released a series based on these books called Virgin River. I SO wanted to get swept up in it (and maybe Ill give it another chance,) but the first 2 episodes didnt captivate me like the books did. Ill likely stick to the sure thing.

Second Chance Pass was another wonderful addition to the Virgin River series. It is so good to read about all of these great characters again. This book had some new characters, and there were so many relationships going that at times it was almost overwhelming. I loved it anyway! I enjoyed reading about Paul and Vanni, and was delighted to see what a large role Jack and Mel played in this book. I am anxiously waiting to see these beloved characters again in the novels that will be released in

For me, the highlight of this book was Preacher and Paige having their baby. How to describe Robyn Carr's Second Chance Pass? I would have to say it's like a hokey, slice of life wholesome soap opera based in a little mountain town in Northern California. It's a place where no one uses birth control. LOL. Also, almost every storyline in this book has it's roots in previous books so I don't recommend starting with this book if you are new to the Virgin River series.
