Narration Concering Books Liberty's Crusade (StarCraft #1)

Write-Up Based On Books Liberty's Crusade (StarCraft #1)
A surprisingly competent Sci-Fi read that may not shake the genre in any meaningful way, but can offer a few hours of enjoyable action. Jeff Grubb is a decent writer and I can see myself being interested in more of his works in the future. Steer away from the book if you don't have ANY Starcraft knowledge beforehand. A lot of the things described are pretty hard to imagine without the visual aid of the games behind it.

I've put this down as potentially containing spoilers because I don't know if the following will give you preconceptions if you've played Starcraft- The story largely follows the Terran campaign from the original game.Having played the first Starcraft quite some time ago, it was nice to revisit the adventures of Jim Raynor and Sarah Kerrigan. As with the other video game adaptions I've read recently, I enjoyed reading about some of the missions that I remember playing through and the book does

The quintessential SC book that describes the fall of the confederacy and the rise of the Terran Dominion. In terms of pure readability, could have been better written with more connection between the plots / characters and some more character building. Worth a read if you are a fan of SC games and want to know the background.

It was fine for what it was: a tie-in.Best line: "And as I killed each and every one of them, I knew what they were thinking. Fear. Panic. Hatred. Hopelessness. Breakfast."-Sara Kerrigan

Surprisingly readable; especially as I hadn't been expecting much of anything. It reads as a 'futuristic'(and clearly, fictional) Generation Kill sort of thing where an embedded reporter follows a group of a lobotomized-and-reprogrammed marines on a mission, only to discover that there are some Very Bad Things out there. There was more of a political twist than the basic monster survival story I had been expecting. Which... I'm not sure why I thought that, considering the game world and its

This book is okay, but not nearly as transcendent in literature as Pride and Prejudice. 0/10 would not read again.
