Relation In Pursuance Of Books Sweet Addiction (Sweet #6)
He awakened a need within her…Cole is successful beyond his dreams. He can have any woman he wants, but there’s only one he can’t stop thinking about. His childhood sweetheart, Renita. He’s never forgotten his first taste of innocent love and the desire that consumed them—or the pain he brought upon her…
But now she belongs to another…
Her long ago brush with submission awakened a longing in Ren that drove her to walk the darker edge of desire. She’s become a beautiful woman at ease with her sexuality and unapologetic about her need for a dominant man. When Cole finds her again, he’s gutted that she belongs to another. Ren’s current master agrees to give her to Cole for a short time, but then she must return to his keeping. And though Cole agrees to this bargain, he knows he will never be able to let Ren go again…

SO.ANGRY.OH.MY.GOD.It's been a while since I've been this emotionally distraught over a book, but oh my god. This book made me so angry, I have no words. Banks introduced us to Cole in earlier books, and I immediately fell in love with his character. HEAR THAT? IN LOVE. What she made him go through in this book... *pulls out hair* The situation:She re-introduces us to droolworthy, (my future husband *sighs happily*) character, Cole. She introduces us to ANOTHER awesomeI didn't like it.I think I need to give this book another chance. I am going to give it another try to see if I change my mind...I think I might. Sweet Persuasion (Sweet #2)Sweet Temptation (Sweet #4)
Holy Toledo! This book is HAWT with a capital H-A-W-T. I might need a cold shower after this. For serious. For the record, while I have read other books by Maya Banks this is my first foray into this particular series. Coming in at book 6 could have left me wallowing in confusion but I never - not once - was lost with who was who and how they all related to one another.I know I've said before that I'm not a crier and then I've promptly gone off and read a book that proved me wrong. This book,
I'm not going to go into details - lots of other reviewers have covered that much better than I could, so I'll stick with my own personal feelings - It was a 2-sitting read, what more can I say ... Maya Banks did it again! *grin* I've loved the Sweet series, had a soft spot for Cole since I first read him, and am a sucker for (view spoiler)[ menages and polyamourous romances (hide spoiler)], along with D/s relationships, so this book ticked all the boxes ... plus, as always with this author, it
This review posted on Guilty Pleasures3.75 StarsI have to admit I was scared to review Sweet Addiction, because I am a HUGE Maya Banks fan. I have loved all the books in the Sweet Series and have been waiting for Coles story. I do not read many book with a BDSM theme to them, but this series I just LOVE. I like that there are all degrees of BDSM in the Sweet series.I have been interested in Cole since his first appearance in the series and we are finally getting his story. There were things that
First off, I have to say that this the first review I've done even though I've read hundreds of books. I'm just that motivated to express how utterly displeased I am with this book. The rest of this review does contain spoilers so if you don't want to know more, don't continue reading. According to the description, you were made to believe that the story would be about Cole and Ren. However, it turns out to be yet another story with a love triangle and worse yet the girl cannot seem to choose
