This novella fits nicely into the Up In The Air series, after Grounded, and tells the story of Lana reuniting with her childhood love, Akira. Lana has shared some of their backstory in previous books of the series, and this book sees her returning home to Maui on business. She misses her island paradise terribly, but has stayed away for 8 years after she seduced Akira, they had one amazing night together, and then he broke her heart.Well, of course, shes not even on the island a day before she

2.5 starsWas very excited to see Lana and Akira's story, but was disappointed in the novella. With a full length book, perhaps I would have felt more of a connection to the story, but that did not happen here.Lana's extremely forward behavior in the first part of the story just set the wrong tone for me and I never recovered. Lots of missed potential for the two main characters and the evil OW issue left unresolved.Despite my disappointment with this novella, I am looking forward to her next
