Two parts mystery and one part thriller, this was all good Jo Nesbo writing.Nesbos 2007 Harry Hole book, the seventh in the series, finds our alcoholic, tough guy detective finally finding himself on the trail of a Norwegian serial killer. This has been a running put-on up to now, since Hole went to Australia and ended that serial killer run. Nesbo alludes to some American FBI training Hole had before this book and when the clues start adding up to a Norse multi-murderer many in the department

Did you know that darkness has a taste?Beware of the snowman in your front yard. It may not be as innocent as it seems!Well, the snowmen in this book are not. Or rather the person who makes them.A well written, suspenseful and atmospheric novel, with morbid storyline, abundant suspects and ample twists and turns. This is my second Jo Nesbo, the 7th in Harry Hole series and definitely not my last.
